Cablecast 4.5.2 Release Notes ========================================================= * Bug 917 | DVD Import continues the preview while importing. -Previewing a DVD while importing causes severe performance problems. Clicking the "import" button now cancels the preview if it is running. * Bug 918 | Autopilot does not assign video server outputs properly -Autopilot now assignes Video Server outputs sequentially, rather than using Load Balancing. * Bug 922 | When making a new project, if there is no producer selected an error is thrown -Producer selection is now interpreted properly before sending the information to the database. * Bug 923 | Several areas of the public website need better error handling -Simple error handling was added. Work will continue on this issue in case 1065. * Bug 924 | Leftover VS1Helper.exe in the Control modules directory -Our build scripts weren't building the right set of projects. * Bug 938 | Communication between the TCD-IP and its RPs is extremely slow -TCD-IP now caches the RP's file list instead of querying the TCD-IP on each and every request * Bug 942 | Autopatch BCS CM does not show up in the available Control Modules list -The CM wasn't properly added to our project files. * Bug 943 | Control Module threads throw an error when stopped -The event log would fill up with "Thread Aborted" errors whenever the Device Control Service was stopped. * Bug 990 | Spelling error on About screen -"Tightrope" is now spelled correctly. Yikes. * Bug 1010 | New Leitch RS12A Control Module -New Leitch RS12A Control Module * Bug 1011 | New Ross AVM Series Control Module -New Ross AVM Series Control Module * Bug 1028 | DVD Import doesn't handle end of segments in MPEG stream -The importer would crash if it hit an end of segment in the mpeg stream during multiplexing. It now ignores end of segments and continues to write data to the original output file. * Bug 1053 | Added VSX Server notification app to the system tray -The Status of the VSX is now shown in the system tray. This also fixes a problem with running DirectShow graphs under the Windows service account.
