Cablecast 6.3.0 Release Notes ========================================================= * Bug CC-29 | Overlay Application doesn't work with passthrough -I changed the `EventQuickView` table to use the `PassthroughDecoderDevice` as the Device. This allows the video overlay app to correctly recognize the channel as being on air. It's been sort of captured in Confluence, but we need to make sure the force matrix and dashboard provide enough data to users so they can see how the system is passing through live sources. * Bug CC-9 | Flex servers should be able to overlay graphics on top of incoming live video -The basic functionality is looking good. We saw some areas which needed improvement before we can ship. Those will be put in new cards. * Bug CC-551 | List Total Run Time Of All Runs In Reporting Totals Table -The total table in reports now contains the total run time of all runs. * Bug CC-509 | Flex I/O Configuration Utility Doesn't Always Apply Settings. -Fixed an issue with the Flex I/O Configuration utility where it was not saving the configuration to the correct location resulting in a corrupt config. The Flex I/O Configuration Utility now works as expected * Bug CC-550 | Average Run Length In Reports Is Incorrect -Fixed an issue where the average run length in the total table was always the same incorrect value. This value is now calculated properly. * Bug CC-588 | Live Streams Can Become Stuck After Nightly Maintenance -Fixed an issue where the live stream could be stuck after nightly maintenance causing the stream to never recover. * Bug CC-730 | Automatically Scale Incoming Video When Encoding -Flex video servers will now automatically scale incoming video that does not match the systems encode resolution making capturing from multiple sources easier and less error prone. * Bug CC-729 | Redesigned Force Matrix -The Force Matrix has been redesigned to be easier to use and provide more real time status information. The new Force Matrix is also designed to work on mobile devices allowing you to control your station on the go easily from anywhere. * Bug CC-435 | Flex Series Video Servers Can Play and Capture RTP streams -Flex series video servers can now ingest RTP streams and play them out the video servers output complete with channel branding. These streams can also be captured to the video server's content drive for later playback. RTP streaming requires additional licensing for each Flex server, contact your Cablecast sales person for more information.
