Cablecast 6.0.8 Release Notes ========================================================= * Bug 10009 | Public Site Color Definition Files Are Not Being Installed -Fixed an issue where the installer was forgetting to install the color definition files for the public site. This prevented the public site from showcasing those lovely hues you worked so hard to cultivate. You can now update your public site to any shade you wish. * Bug 10034 | Some Files Verify Repeatedly Leading To System Performance Degradation -Fixed an issue where verifying a file would fail. This caused the file to be verified over and over again. The repeated verification would use significant server resources and could ultimately lead to playback issues. We now verify the file once, so your server can get back to doing what it is supposed to. * Bug 10037 | Video Servers Can Fail To Output Video or Hang Until a Reboot -Fixed an issue with the firmware on the video IO cards used in SX and Flex servers. The underlying issue was a memory overflow that would prevent communication with the board on the PCIe bus. This would present itself as the server failing to play content, or in extreme cases hanging entirely until the system was rebooted. The new firmware fixes the underlying memory overflow.
