Cablecast 5.2.6 Release Notes ========================================================= * Bug 7990 | Files may not be fully transcoded for VOD -Fixed an issue that would cause certain MPEG-2 files to be cut short during VOD transcoding. * Bug 8070 | Find and Replace Batch Function uses correct defaults for start and end times -The start and end times are now properly set to 12:00:00 AM and 11:59:59 PM respectively. * Bug 8143 | Public site displays "Watch Now" links for disabled VODs -The public site now only shows "Watch Now" links for enabled video on demand files. * Bug 8147 | MPEG-2 files with PCM audio fail VOD transcoding -MPEG-2 files with PCM audio can now be transcoded for video on demand. * Bug 8164 | Cablecast Service repeatedly logs database connection error -Fixed an issue in which the Cablecast Service was not closing a database connection before attempting to reopen it. The system would operate normally, but would fill the event logs with a related error message. * Bug 8167 | SQL migration fails on older databases -Fixed an issue that would cause database migrations to fail on systems migrating from Cablecast 4.8 and below. * Bug 8169 | Disabling VODs can cause VOD queue to stall -Fixed several issues related to the VOD queue becoming stuck after a VOD is disabled. * Bug 8178 | VOD transcoding can fail if a space is in the path of the source file -Fixed an issue with preparing source files that have spaces in the file's path. * Bug 8182 | Internet Explorer incorrectly caches control modules hosts status -Fixed an issue where Internet Explorer would cache the status of a Control Module Host resulting in incorrect status data being presented to the user.
