Cablecast 5.2.3 Release Notes ========================================================= * Bug 7801 | Behavior of clearing shows is different between batch functions and show record -Clearing a show now has the same effect if it is done using the Batch Functions or using the Clear button in the show record. * Bug 7824 | Accessing and searching for some Media could fail -Cablecast would not be able to search or display Media that did not have certain values set. This is fixed and all Media can now be searched for and displayed. * Bug 7827 | Live IP Exempt property is not saved -Cablecast now saves the Live IP Exempt property. * Bug 7830 | Some links to shows bring user to a broken show record -Cablecast 5.2 introduced a new show record editing page. Some links in Cablecast would bring the user to the old show record rather than the new show record. These links have been fixed to point to the new show record. * Bug 7833 | Resource leak related to VOD processing in Cablecast service -It was possible for the Cablecast service to leak database connections while processing VODs, leading to a slow down of the system and eventual crash. This leak has been fixed. * Bug 7837 | Shows with no digital files do not show up as source incomplete in VOD UI -Shows that have no associated digital files now show up as source incomplete in the waiting tab of the VOD UI. * Bug 7838 | Reels with no length are processed as ready for VOD and fail -Shows with reels that have a length of 00:00:00 are now kept in the waiting stage until a proper length is entered. * Bug 7841 | Reels with no format cause Autopilot sends to fail -Reels with no format now give an Autopilot error message allowing the rest of autopilot to continue. * Bug 7846 | View Now links are generated for shows currently transcoding -Cablecast now only presents the user with a View Now link if the VOD is complete and ready to be viewed.
